Overview

Washington Wilds is a new endeavor created by two Washington State outdoors enthusiasts who wanted to share content with users seeking info about trails, tourist spots, and lesser-known adventures. Of course, they plan to provide some reviews on these locations and functionally helpful gear.

Challenge

Provide a robust and scalable website built using the Client-First Framework for quick iterating and fast content output.

The Washington Wilds' crew knew they needed to manage this site without assistance from a developer, as this would become cost-prohibitive. So, all content on the site can be managed via Webflow's CMS without external integrations or costly third-party tools. This allows them to write, edit, and publish articles at their chosen pace—no fuss.

Result

Building brand equity and creating loyal users.

I began with the logo, color palette, typography, and social media templates. It was essential to capture the spirit of the brand with a logo that was minimalist, bold, and representative of their aesthetic. Website designs were quick since they provided a substantial brief that included inspiration and their target audience.
